a.    Must sign in – See register or scan and complete using QR code

b.    Stay away if unwell or any flu-like symptoms

c.     You must not stand up and drink or socialise – always be seated when consuming alcohol

d.    No more than 30 per group/table

e.    Stay 1.5m from other patrons

f.      Obey all directives by staff

g.     Coopers staff reserve the right to ask patrons to leave if we believe they are not following the rules or are showing flu-like symptoms

We are proud to announce that The Coopers Hotel came under new ownership in February 2019 - some 150 years after it first opened the doors to the public.

You will see some changes during 2019 and 2020 as we strive to improve the offering across all facets of the Hotel. We are proud of the long history of this beautiful establishment and we will continue to stay true to our past. At the same time, we want The Coopers to flourish and thrive in this amazing part of the world - King Street, Newtown - so a revitalisation of the Hotel is imperative to ensure the long term viability of the business.

The Coopers Hotel is a part of what makes Newtown so unique. We offer a great beer, wine & cocktail selection. We also offer a fantastic menu to enjoy in both our relaxed open-air terrace upstairs as well as our public bar downstairs.

WEEKLY SPECIALS

Monday kicks off the weekly fun with 'Gender Bender Bingo' from 7pm- A savvy and sassy night with Oxford streets biggest drag queens, brought to you courtesy of Miss Penny Tration. It’s Burger night too! Beef, Chicken or Veg only $10

Tuesday $12 Schnitzels plus Trivia! Grab your mates & a Parmy, Schnity or Parma Fiorentina with chips & salad for just $12. Then have some fun with Free Trivia in the Public Bar from 7pm. Great prizes on offer, adults only.

Wednesday Night is for 'Two for One' on all of our mains, classics, salads & daily specials; get in early. Members Badge Draw at 7pm; $150 in points to be won or it jackpots

Thursday Nights are for ‘Wings & Tins’ plus Comedy $1 wings (minimum 3) and $5 tinnies from 5pm. Then from 8pm we have free live comedy in the Public Bar.(Comedy to return November 2020)

Friday nights are live & loud with sports. NOTHING OVER $20! FULL MENU, ALL DAY. Grab a Steak and ANY Schooner for $25 (from 5pm) as well as a ticket with every beverage purchase from 4pm in our Meat, Fruit and Vege Raffle drawn at 7pm.

Saturdays are a punters paradise - Our punters club lets you enjoy a day at the races without the price tag! Check in with our men early Saturday mornings to join the fun

Sundays are bringing up the rear with our classic roast dinners served from 12pm until sold out! and tunes from 3pm on the Deck

Monday - Friday $12.50 Pub Lunches and nothing over $20 from 12-3pm and $5 happy hour from 4pm-6pm.
