We are proud to announce that The Coopers Hotel came under new ownership in February 2019 - some 150 years after it first opened the doors to the public.

You will see some changes during 2019 as we strive to improve the offering across all facets of the Hotel. We are proud of the long history of this beautiful establishment and we will continue to stay true to our past. At the same time, we want The Coopers to flourish and thrive in this amazing part of the world - King Street, Newtown - so a revitalisation of the Hotel is imperative to ensure the long term viability of the business.

The Coopers Hotel is a part of what makes Newtown so unique. We offer a great beer, wine & cocktail selection. We also offer a fantastic menu to enjoy in both our relaxed open-air terrace upstairs as well as our public bar downstairs.
